Today I am sharing alphabet practice ideas and easy ways to learn at home or in the classroom for your students and children.
3 Ideas For Alphabet Practice
I LOVE working with my children and students on learning their letters. But, it’s not always easy! They often get bored or find themselves struggling. Here are 3 of my favorite ideas for alphabet and letter practice at home or in the classroom.
- Alphabet Puzzles- Go to your favorite store that carries puzzles and grab a basic alphabet puzzle. Do the puzzle together and name the letters. Hide the puzzle pieces around the room and as they are found name each letter name and sound. Place the puzzle pieces in your favorite sensory bin and as each is found name the letter name and sound.
- Find the letter- As you are out and about with your class or children, walking the halls of your school or driving around town, stop and notice letters. Point to a letter and have them name the letter name and sound. Name a letter and ask them to find that letter as you explore. This will give them great alphabet practice.
