Many years ago, I sat down to sew my 1 year old son a quiet book. I spent hours researching, and so so so many more hours sewing that book. It turned out so fun, but it was SO MUCH WORK. After that, I realized I wanted to create something a little simpler. That is when my printable quiet book came to be. Since then, I have created two different printable quiet books that any one can put together. They are simple, yet so affective, and make for a great quiet book for younger children.

Printable Quiet Book Bible Theme
After creating my first quiet book, I knew I wanted to branch out and make even more with different themes (just wait for what’s to come!) I knew that I wanted something that my children could take to church. That’s why I created this printable quiet book bible theme.
This printable quiet book includes all you need to print quiet book pages for your young children around the Bible theme. This is perfect for church or learning about Bible stories at home. It is intended to be used with only fingers- no markers or handwriting tools required. It includes the following pages:
I Spy bible pictures (2 pages)
Identify and count numbers 1-6 and put them on the whale from Jonah and the Whale
Trace the lines for the animals to get on the ark
Trace the line through the pictures to tell about Moses and the 10 commandments
Trace the lines to help the slingshot hit Goliath
Trace the line through the pictures to tell the story of Jonah and the Whale
Match pictures from the story Daniel and the Lion’s Den
Create your own nativity scene
Place animals on Noah’s ark to help tell the story
Match shapes using pictures from Noah’s ark
Match uppercase letters together with a star proclaiming Jesus’ birth
Match pictures from the Good Samaritan story to the shadows they belong
Cut out and complete a puzzle of the story of Jesus calming the sea
Match together pictures with the same shape
Put together a puzzle of Jesus and his sheep
Identify pictures of children showing love to one another

How to Assemble the Books
I have tried multiple ways to create these quiet books and here is what I have found to work best:
Print out the pages on card stock if you are using flimsy laminator paper
Print out the pages on regular paper if you are using thick laminator paper
Laminate each of the pages
Cut out the pictures that belong to the pages
Use either velcro or blue tack to put on the pieces
If you are using velcro, use velcro to place a bag on the back of the previous page to hold the extra pieces (shown above)
Both velcro and blue tack work great- but blue tack is definitely quieter.
Wrapping it Up
These two printable quiet books have turned out to be some of my favorite things I’ve ever created. They are used on a weekly basis at our house, if not more. My sons ages 2-6 all love them and have learned great skills from using these books. If you are looking for a printable quiet book, both of these are a great option.
