I’ve decided that the best place to keep my preschool followers and fell teachers aware of what Little Owl Academy is teaching during the month, is by sharing it here! So, at the beginning of each month I will give a brief over view of each of the themes we are working on over the next few weeks. Today I’ll be sharing our April preschool themes and printables!
Rainbow Preschool Theme
The first theme we will be working on is a Rainbow Preschool theme. This theme is reviewing a lot of the concepts we have learned throughout the year so far and introducing a few new things. The bundle contains:
Rainbow Theme Circle TIme
Rainbow Theme Task Cards
Letter of the week R
Preschool Math: Making 5, Heavy and light, and how many?
“A Rainbow of My Very Own” Book Companion
“How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow” Book Companion
You can find this bundle here:
Pets Preschool Theme
As a pet lover, this may be one of the themes I get most excited about each year. My kids love learning about all different types of pets and showing off our own pets. This is a great addition to an April preschool theme and printable. As a fun side note, one year when I was teaching in the public classroom a student of mine brought a camel for “share your pet day!” Can you imagine that showing up at your school?!
This includes:
Pet theme circle time
“Some Pets” Book COmpanion
Letter of the Week H
Preschool Task Cards pet theme
“The Night Before the New Pet” Book Companion
Preschool Math: Same and Different, Left and Right, Number of Sides
You can find it here:
Garden Preschool Theme
The final theme we will be focusing on this month is our garden preschool theme. I love flowers more than anything, so I’m really looking forward to having this as one of our April preschool themes and printables. To go along with this, we will also be making our fairy garden for the year!
